Amazing Experience on the Amazon

Day one with our 10day home in the background. We took a 19 hour trip to reach this town of 2,000 people. The only way they can get to a hospital is by boat.

Here is a better view of my floating house of 26 americans and about 20 Brazilians. We had all our meals on the boat and fresh laundry done daily. Not really roughing it.

How we disemarged the boat daily. Hopefully you don't slip. Maybe I should have mentioned I tend to be a bit clumsy.

A really nice home for the area. In larger towns they travel by bike or motorcycle.
